Over the last few months, the Texas Longhorns and Texas A&M Aggies emerged as the true frontrunners to earn a commitment from five-star running back Landen Williams-Callis.
Then, seemingly out of nowhere, the Missouri Tigers entered the conversation and were suddenly the only out-of-state team in contention to land the Texas-born prospect.
Now, Williams-Callis has set his commitment date: August 1, and the Tigers are still in the mix, as one of the final five schools he will be deciding between.
When Williams-Callis' decision day was announced by On3/Rivals' Hayes Fawcett, it came with the statement that he would choose between the Houston Cougars, Tigers, SMU Mustangs, Aggies, and Longhorns.

With just a couple of weeks until his decision day, it's time for Sarkisian and his staff to lay all of their chips on the table in hopes of locking down a commitment from Williams-Callis. If they don't, the Horns could be facing him across the line of scrimmage in just a few years.
