There has been no denying Arch Manning's connection with his teammates since the first moment he stepped onto campus in Austin.
From living with former Texas wide receiver Parker Livingstone to attending a cookout with wideout Ryan Wingo in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, the Longhorns' quarterback ensures that he has both an on-field and off-field relationship with his teammates.
Most recently, Manning took a few fellow Longhorns to spend time with his dad, a former Ole Miss quarterback, Cooper Manning, and it cost the star quarterback a joke or two at his own expense.
In a picture posted to social media, Cooper Manning was driving his son's teammates around in an open-roof convertible car. The younger Manning? He was nowhere to be seen.
Football is family for the Mannings, whether you have the last name or not
Cooper, who was (hopefully) joking around, said that Arch was in the trunk of the car, preferring to sit with his son's teammates than his own son.

Clearly, both Mannings have made an impact on the Longhorns while the youngest quarterback success story finds his footing and his own style of play on the 40 Acres.
Cooper, whose career ended due to a devastating injury, never played a game for the Ole Miss Rebels but continued his father's legacy of elite quarterback play as a high school prodigy. Archie Manning, the father of Cooper and his two brothers, Peyton and Eli, spun the ball for the Rebels.
He earned 4,753 career passing yards for 31 touchdowns, while also earning 823 yards and 25 touchdowns on the ground. Arch plays most similarly to his grandfather, continuing the legacy of elite Manning quarterbacks, as a dual-threat QB.
Arch's uncles, Peyton and Eli, weren't quite as well-versed at the ground game, but had incredible careers of their own, each winning two Super Bowl rings in the NFL after incredible collegiate careers.
Eli also played at Ole Miss, earning 10,119 passing yards for 81 touchdowns. He lost 135 yards on the ground, but did manage to run in five touchdowns throughout his collegiate career.
Peyton, who is the only Manning to play for the Tennessee Volunteers so far, earned 11,201 passing yards and 89 touchdowns. He lost 181 yards on the ground but more than doubled his younger brother's rushing TD mark, with 12 touchdowns on the ground.
So far, Arch has earned 4,132 passing yards for 35 touchdowns and just nine interceptions. He has earned 514 yards on the ground for 14 rushing touchdowns so far.
