Despite racking up his frequent-flyer miles, visiting other programs all across the country, five-star wide receiver Easton Royal has stayed true to the Texas Longhorns, the team he committed to nearly half a year ago.

That much continued to be true when he put in his two cents on where a fellow five-star wideout should bring his talents. Royal, of course, calling Texas "home" in response to Monshun Sales hinting at his favorability for the Horns.

Monshun Sales leans into report of Texas leading his recruitment

On3's recruiting expert Hayes Fawcett reported that Texas had "emerged as a top school" for Sales, and the uncommitted wide receiver reposted the tweet, tagging Royal and including a couple of Horns' up emojis.

Royal responded in due course, saying, "It's home brudda cmon! They cant double both of us!!"

After visiting the Longhorns in Austin this week, Sales told Facett that Texas had entered his top five programs still under consideration, a massive step in the right direction for head coach Steve Sarkisian and his staff.

Sales has offers from across the country, just like Royal, but has taken significantly longer to announce his commitment. Royal is the No. 2 wideout in the class of 2027. Sales? He's the No. 1 receiver.

Over the next two months, Sales has five official visits lined up, seemingly taking trips to his final five schools to help make his decision. He has OVs booked to Indiana (his home-state team), Alabama (the team considered the true frontrunner), Texas, Ohio State, and Miami.

Currently, Sarkisian's class of 2027 ranks No. 11, according to On3, in the national standings, but he has only received eight commitments so far, including Royal's. The addition of a second five-star recruit like Sales could send the Horns' recruiting class into the top 10, if not the top five.
