The Texas Longhorns officially know when they'll face the Oregon Ducks in the two teams' Super Regional series.

In a matchup that will determine which team will head to the College World Series and which team will go home.

When ESPN revealed the television schedule for all of the Super Regional series, it became clear that the matchup between Texas and Oregon was one of the most exciting pairings still left in the postseason.

Oregon vs. Texas Super Regional schedule announced

  • Game 1 - Saturday, June 6 at 7 p.m. CT, ESPN
  • Game 2 - Sunday, June 7 at 8 p.m. CT, ESPN
  • Game 3 (if necessary) - Monday, June 8, time and TV channel TBD

Not only are the games between the Longhorns and Ducks scheduled for primetime television, but they are on the main ESPN channel, not ESPN2 or ESPNU, like some of the other Super Regional games.

The series between Oregon and Texas is one of eight Super Regional matchups, and one of five series that features at least one team in the SEC.

The Horns' rivals, the Oklahoma Sooners, are also still alive in the postseason and are set to host the Kansas Jayhawks. The Ole Miss Rebels and the Auburn Tigers are in an entirely SEC Super Regional, as are the Georgia Bulldogs and the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Alabama rounds out the conference members still alive in the postseason with a series against the Saint John's Red Storm.

In the non-SEC matchups, the West Virginia Mountaineers face the Cal Poly Mustangs, Troy faces Little Rock, and the UNC Tar Heels will face the USC Trojans.
