While it's the offseason for the Texas men's and women's basketball teams, the NBA is in the middle of its playoffs, and the WNBA is just getting its season underway.

In the WNBA, teams are playing preseason matchups, and a lot of those games are taking place on neutral-site courts for a change of scenery before the actual season begins.

That includes the Dallas Wings, the Paige Bueckers-focused team that just got its second No. 1 overall pick in a row, in the form of Azzi Fudd.

This weekend, the Wings are scheduled to face the Las Vegas Aces (yes, the team with four-time MVP A'ja Wilson) at none other than the Moody Center, the home of the Texas Longhorns.

How to watch Dallas Wings vs. Las Vegas Aces

  • Date & Time: Sunday, May 3 at 6:00 p.m. CT
  • Location: Moody Center, Austin, TX
  • TV/Streaming: ION Television, fuboTV

Both teams enter the matchup with a 1-0 record under their belts, Dallas coming off a 15-point victory over the Indiana Fever and superstar Caitlin Clark, and Las Vegas coming off a 16-point victory over the Japan women's national team.

This is the only WNBA scheduled to take place at the Moody Center this season and is the first of its kind for the Horns' home court. However, Texas's home has hosted a slew of NBA games featuring the San Antonio Spurs, who head I-3 to Austin, while the Wings will head down the interstate highway for their game.

Former Texas Longhorns in the WNBA

Meanwhile, former Texas women's basketball star point guard Rori Harmon has seen the beginning of her WNBA career after getting drafted by the Washington Mystics, alongside UCLA Bruin Lauren Betts.

In the Mystics' first preseason game of the year, Harmon came off the bench to score one point, as well as contributing three steals, one assist, and one rebound.

Kyla Oldacre, who initially received an invite to the Wings' camp, was released by Dallas but signed a new deal with the Connecticut Sun.
