Sean Miller has had a lot of recruiting wins since taking over the Texas men's basketball program. From Jordan Pope and Tramon Mark announcing that they would return for the upcoming season to his former Xavier star guard Dailyn Swain transferring to Texas.

Now, James Madison transfer Bryce Lindsay has announced that he will jump on Zoom calls with the Texas Longhorns and their rivals, the Oklahoma Sooners.

Lindsay also joined calls with the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the SMU Mustangs. Prior to joining the JMU Dukes, the guard started his collegiate career with the Texas A&M Aggies, with whom he only played in eight games and utilized his redshirt season.

Last season for James Madison, Lindsay averaged 13.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 0.6 steals per game.

Lindsay was a three-star recruit coming out of high school and was the No. 20 athlete out of Maryland in the class of 2023. He received offers from programs like Syracuse, Xavier, and Arizona. When he received the offer from Xavier, the head coach of the program was none other than Sean Miller.

At 6-foot-3 and just 194 pounds, Lindsay is one of the relatively smaller players in the transfer portal, but he plays the point guard impressively well. His basketball IQ and court vision benefit him well despite being shorter than most of the other players on the court.

Miller has also garnered attention from Nevada transfer Nick Davidson, but lost two-year Texas small forward Devon Pryor, who entered the transfer portal and committed to the Oregon Ducks in March.
