More and more often, nonconference opponents are scheduling home-and-home series against each other to garner more attention to the two programs, that may have never even played each other before.

As Texas heads to the SEC, there isn’t an endless supply of programs the Longhorns have yet to play throughout their lengthy history.

Dabo Swinney has led the Clemson Tigers to the top of the country, which more accurately means the top of the world for college football.

While the Tigers have crumbled over the past few years, and struggled to maintain a spot toward the top of the national rankings, Clemson is still a powerhouse program.

If the Tigers and the Horns clashed on the field, for the first time ever, it would be an absolute brawl on both ends of the ball.

Florida State has the opportunity to once again stand atop the ACC in 2024, earning an immediate spot in the 12-team College Football Playoffs.

This could lead to the Longhorns and the Seminoles meeting for the first time ever, but it would only leave fans wanting more.

A home-and-home series between the two storied programs would bring millions to their TV set and dozens of thousands to each team's stadium.
