With just one game remaining on the regular-season schedule, a 20-point loss to a long-time rival wasn't exactly what the Texas Longhorns had in mind as they visited the No. 20 Arkansas Razorbacks.
Yet, here they are, with a 105-85 loss in their back pockets and yet another rivalry matchup right around the corner.
During the double-digit loss, one of the worst performances of the night came from senior guard Jordan Pope, who returned for another season with Texas after the Horns named Sean Miller as their new head coach.
Against Arkansas, Pope not only had three fouls before the halftime buzzer sounded, but he scored zero points, dished out zero assists, brought down zero rebounds, and snagged zero steals.
Jordan Pope had worst career performance vs Razorbacks
When Miller sat down for the postgame press conference, members of the media were leaning forward, ready to hear what the ever-honest head coach had to say about his starting point guard's abysmal night.
"He didn't seem like he really wanted to play, ya know. He didn't participate in tonight's game," Miller said. "So, certainly, when you have a senior who's that meaningful to your team, and he's not able to play, it hurts, and it certainly hurt us."
Of course, Miller virtually ripped Pope out of the game, the senior clocking just four minutes in the conference matchup. So, he didn't have a ton of opportunity to earn any stats. However, Miller was absolutely correct in saying that it didn't look like Pope wanted to play against the Razorbacks.

Even with his zero-zero-zero-zero performance, Pope has averaged 27.8 minutes, 12.7 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 0.4 steals per game, and is the leader of the offense as one of the most experienced players on the roster.
There was absolutely no sign of that "leader" on the court versus Arkansas.
Up next, the Longhorns will host the Oklahoma Sooners to close out their regular season at home, and after that performance by Pope, don't be too surprised if he doesn't start in what will likely be his final game in Austin.
