In four days, the Texas Longhorns will throw out the first pitch of their Super Regional against the Oregon Ducks.
If the Horns secure two wins over the Ducks, they will advance to the College World Series for the first time in four years.
While the series is yet to begin, oddsmakers are clearly already favoring Texas to advance over Oregon. In fact, according to the FanDuel Sportsbook, oddsmakers are leaning toward the Longhorns as one of their favorites to win it all.
College World Series favorites from FanDuel Sportsbook
While Texas isn't the current odds' favorite to win the College World Series, the Horns are narrowly behind the frontrunners, the UNC Tar Heels, who are also set to host a Super regional this weekend.

Despite the Tar Heels hailing from the ACC, with seven teams remaining in the NCAA Tournament coming from the SEC, it's hard to deny that the Longhorns' conference is the most dominant in the country, giving the Horns an extra edge in the postseason.
Texas is followed in odds by the Georgia Bulldogs and Auburn Tigers, tied for third, and the Mississippi State Bulldogs in fifth. Alabama, Ole Miss, and Oklahoma are the three other SEC teams in the Super Regional.
If you're curious about the Horns' history against the Ducks, possibly giving a nod to this weekend's matchup, the two teams don't have one.
Throughout the programs' lengthy histories, they have never faced each other in the regular season or postseason, despite both having more than a dozen NCAA Tournament appearances apiece.
The Longhorns and the Ducks are scheduled to start their best-of-three series on Saturday, June 6, at 7 p.m. CT. The second game between Texas and Oregon is scheduled for 8 p.m. CT on Sunday, June 7. If a third game is necessary, it will take place on Monday.
