A few weeks ago, the Texas Longhorns learned that their rematch against the Ohio State Buckeyes, which will take place at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, would kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT.

Now, the Horns know when their other two non-conference matchups will take place, with all three being home games for Texas, and what channels they'll be televised on.

Texas 2026 non-conference schedule finalized

When the Longhorns host two of their in-state opponents, the Texas State Bobcats and the UTSA Roadrunners, they will have an afternoon and evening matchup on deck.

Texas and Texas State are scheduled to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT in the Horns' season-opener, slating the two central Texas teams for a high-heat showdown. The game will be broadcast on ESPN and will actually be a matchup between an SEC and Pac-12 matchup, with the Bobcats set to join the new conference this summer.

Two weeks later, after having faced the Buckeyes on Sept. 12, the Longhorns will host the Roadrunners at 7 p.m. CT, and the game will be aired on the SEC Network+.

When the Horns learned the kickoff time for their game against Ohio State, they also learned that the game would air on ABC, an affiliate of ESPN.
