Just a few days after his own commitment, four-star cornerback Montre Jackson was back on the recruiting trail, putting forth his best efforts to land a blue-chip prospect for the Texas Longhorns and head coach Steve Sarkisian.

Jackson, who committed to Texas over a slew of the Horns' rivals, tagged five-star offensive lineman Ismael Camara on X. His social media message to him was extremely to the point.

"[Ismael Camara] come home!!" Jackson wrote to the other blue-chip recruit from the class of 2027.

Beyond his commitment to the Horns, it is already apparent that Jackson has fully bought into the culture that Sarkisian has created on the 40 Acres.

Jackson is one of 21 commits in Texas's class of 2027. He is a big part of the reason the group has broken into the top six of the national rankings and into the top three of the SEC standings. Landing a commitment from a prospect like Camara could push the Longhorns even closer to the No. 1 spot in both of those rankings.

Montre Jackson wants Ismael Camara as his Texas teammate so badly

Camara is a top-30 prospect in the 2027 recruiting cycle and the No. 4 overall interior offensive lineman in his class. The Gilmer, Texas native is currently projected to end up with the Longhorns, but has received a lot of attention and given a lot of love to both the SMU Mustangs and the Oregon Ducks throughout the process.

However, with a slew of recent expert predictions in Texas's favor, things are coming up burnt orange for Sarkisian's recruitment of Camara. Jackson's social media comments only add to those efforts.

Jackson and Camara have grown up just a few hours apart in Texas. For the four-star cornerback to call Austin home, despite growing up significantly closer to both Dallas and Houston, was a great sign for the Horns' recruiting efforts.

Hopefully, Camara is starting to, or already does, feel the same way about Texas that Jackson does.

Most recently, while putting in a lot of off-season work on the field, Camara shared a few videos of his workouts and captioned them with five emojis, seemingly hinting at the five schools still under consideration for his commitment: a duck, a mustang, a longhorn, a tiger, and an elephant.

According to a recent report from Rivals, Camara shared that his commitment could be coming soon, saying it is "definitely possible." The recruiting site shared that the Horns are undeniably the frontrunners to land him, followed by SMU, Oregon, and the LSU Tigers.

With a commitment possibly on the horizon, it is time for Sarkisian (and maybe a few of the prospects he has already landed commitments from) to go full force on their recruitment of Camara, in hopes of seeing him in burnt orange next year, and not on the roster of a different Power Conference program.
